Konnichiwa!
Ronin Con is Oklahoma's oldest and most exciting Convention, and it's held every year on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. This is our 6th year running, and every year we expand our showings, events, and guests. Come join us in Dale Hall this year and see why we've got five great years under our collective belts.

All this fun and merriment is put on annually by the University of Oklahoma Animation Society. Come join a great club located in Norman, Oklahoma. We hold weekly anime showings every Wednesday. These weekly meetings (read: showings) are free, so show up!

Thanks for your support at RoninCon 2005!

16.01.07 January Club Meetings—Just as a reminder, there will be a showing/meeting this Wednesday, January 17th in the upper floor of Dale Hall.
I apologize for the lack of updates on the Con, but I've been a bit overwhelmed lately.  We're working on it, though, please bear with us.

12.08.06 Winter 2k6 Finals Suck Party—The Finals Suck Party will be held on campus at the Cate Center Lounge (same building as Block & Barrel), on Wednesday, December 13, at 8:00 p.m.  Please note that on-campus rules still apply.

-The Next RoninCon Will NOT
be held in the fall of 2006.  Due to conflictions with other local conventions, and not to mention football season.  Thus, we're shooting for sometime in Spring of 07.  More details will be posted as soon as we have them.
-Site domain transfer, host change
Please excuse the downtime, but it took quite a lot of digital red tape and paperwork to get everything transferred.  As of this, the forums are not up, but I'm working on them.

Photos for RC2005 are up on the photos page!  Please excuse the fact that they're out of order and possibly the wrong day.  I blame the camera or developer.  Or maybe the camera developer.

10.28.05
-Pre-Registration
is now over.  Therefore, if you'd like to attend and haven't pre-registered, you must register at the con itself.

10.26.05
The T-Shirts are done, finally.  They will be available at the Con, for the price of $15 per shirt ($16 for a 2XL), so be sure to bring along a cash or check if you want the spiffy threads.

10.25.05
-Events Schedule Listed
-Due to poor turnout, the AMV Contest has been effectively cancelled.

10.23.05
-Tickets at now available at the AtomikPop store in Norman.
-The events page has been updated with the details of our Magic: The Gathering tournament.  It's Saturday at 7:00, and is a sealed deck (cards provided) game that will cost an extra $20 (i.e. not included in admission).

10.15.05
First, off, the Events page has more details on it, including our first Guest of Honor, Clyde Mandelin.  Also, the FAQ has been cleaned up with more information including driving directions.  Along with that, general tweaks site-wide.

10.07.05
More important things.  The first is the Registration Page.  You can now pre-register for RoninCon using PayPal.
Secondly, we're managed to add a full-featured forum/message board, which you'll now find a link to on every page.
Lastly, Overall times have been added to the Events page, as well as a FAQ question.

9.22.05
Just some update-type things, most important of which are this year's prices.  Please note that we're still working on getting the online PayPal service working.

9.10.05
The new RoninCon.com site (this one) is up.  Note that this year, we're almost-but-not-quite starting fresh, so almost all of the information on this is very tentative and subject to change.  That said, if something isn't up yet, it isn't up yet.  It will probably be added in the future.  If something's really pressing, you might just want to contact us.  Of course, there's no guarantees there, either.
