ART SHOW and AUCTION

Once again, RoninCon will be having a combination art show and silent auction.  Though the rules are subject to change, here they are:

Art Auction Rules:
1.
Any and all drawn, painted or digital art is welcome at the RoninCon Art Auction. Sculptures, models and self-published comics are welcome. Please note that all artwork must be matted and/or ready to hang and everything else must be able to stand on its own! Any art not ready to hang will be returned to the artist and will not be shown.

2. RoninCon is an all-ages event, and there will be children present. Any items that are 18+ will be placed in a controlled area of the auction room where people who present IDs will be able to view and bid on them. Any items with minor or incidental nudity have the option of having that nudity obscured through external means (as in a piece of tape over that breast if the art is laminated) in order to participate in the general auction. YOUR ART WILL NOT BE ALTERED. If you have any questions on what qualifies, please don't hesitate to contact one of the officers! (We're in the menu tab to your left)

3. Any art to be auctioned must come packed with the shipping and contact info of the artist or artists. Without this information, we cannot guarantee the timely return of any money or materials. Please include shipping instructions for unsold artwork. All items will be returned via First Class US mail. If you wish for us to send your work with another company, please provide stamps/labels for the cost of shipping. Any unused stamps or labels will be returned.

4. Please indicate the starting bid for the item. If you wish, you may also specify a price at which the item can be purchased outright before the first bid is placed. (This is like the Buy It Now option on Ebay)

5. Ronin Con will take a 10% showing fee from any profit made. If you don't sell anything, all it costs you to participate are the shipping charges!

6. All accounts will be paid via cashier's check in the name of the artist. All accounts will be settled before December 31st.

If you are going to attend Ronin Con, but you do not live in the area you will need to either ship your artwork to us, or have your artwork into Ronin Con before 11am on the day you plan to show it.

Before you decide to bring in/send in your artwork please e-mail us.
